What is George’s view on the role of death in Ozark, Season 2?  What is Randy’s opinion on the first episodes of the final season of House of Cards?  What exactly took Diane’s breath away while watching Baryshnikov?  And what exactly is Sam jealous of regarding Diane?  Plus, for those of the more philosophical bent, what is this third episode of Season 4 trying to tell us regarding the role of physical appearance in our judgements and assumptions?  “Someday My Prince Will Come” serves up the questions - come on in the bar for some answers! (Review starts - 13:20)

It is the second week of season four and we are at full throttle!!  We have George detailing the highs and lows of location scouting, Randy discussing his modern and historical film influences, Woody contemplating the janitor at Cheers advice on sublimation and Frasier learning the downfall of bar tabs.  Plus, is Sam’s bar tab policy a sound business practice?  Pull up a chair, grab some rumaki and enjoy “Woody Goes Belly Up”. The bar is open and the boys are back!!  The season 4 premiere of Cheers Weekly kicks off with an extended intro covering George's and Randy's hiatus activities including George's Vancouver adventures for VIFF and Randy's Paris adventures for The Ryder Cup.  In addition, we get a detailed breakdown of The Americans final season (as Randy has finally caught up), so spoiler alerts are in effect.  As for our favorite gang of bar patrons, Sam details his adventures to Italy, Frasier details his humiliation, Woody is introduced to the big world and we see where Diane is seeking refuge from all of it.  Plus, Randy proposes the first item of Cheers Weekly merch...a t-shirt commemorating the Sisters of the Divine Severity.  Cook up your favorite rice dish with a nice pinot noir and enjoy "Birth, Death, Love and Rice"! (Review starts - 29:07)

And to top it all off, the announcement of which episode has earned the esteemed "Cristal with Bottle Service" designation for season 3!  Order up a couple barrels of Chianti and enjoy “Rescue Me”! Sep 24, 2018

We have Carla on the warpath plotting revenge against Drusilla Dimeglio (including an under-utilized guest turn by Marsha Warfield), Frasier plotting his downhill skiing career and Cliff plotting just plain poorly.  And as as bonus, we witness Randy's utter failure regarding basic sitcom history.  Order up your favorite draft with a cornflake in it and enjoy "The Belles of St. Clete's"! (Review starts - 10:45)

As Diane and Frasier are off to Italy and tipping like drunken Americans, Sam hires a shocking replacement (with Lila Kaye in a fantastic guest role).  George and Randy debate the timeline challenges (from a shooting schedule perspective) of our previous two episodes, Randy admits yet another gap in his entertainment education and the boys take a stand against job-shaming.  Grab a banana daiquiri and listen closely to "The Bartender's Tale".  (Review starts - 17:21)

Sep 10, 2018

A very special episode of Cheers Weekly as George and Randy discuss what turned out to be Nicholas Colasanto's final full performance.  In addition and on a lighter note, we have a return to the glorious Sam and Diane dynamic as Diane plans to leave Cheers, a discussion on the homage to Cheers from The Good Place (Season 2), some filmmaker tips on the use of music and sound and the longest exploration of the Police Academy movies that's likely ever occurred in human history (and that's only 30 seconds long).  Order up your favorite Italian drink and enjoy! (Review starts - 14:08)

Nick Tortelli is back!!! And he (and his out-of-control chest hair) wants Carla!  It is all a sight to behold...words do not do it justice.  Plus, George schools Randy on Jennifer Aniston's connection to an 80s comedy classic while Randy reveals his long-awaited "Top 5 Movies I Would Take To A Deserted Island".  And please pardon our mess as we mop up the floor with some recent audio issues.  Or in Cheers and USPS parlance...we pulled a Clavin. (Review starts - 21:32)

Aug 20, 2018

On this week's show...the focus is on vast differences of perception.  From Diane's view of Sam's intentions, Frasier's view of the value of the fetish seminar, Cliff's view of his social ability in talking to women, a reporter's view of Cheers as a singles bar and most importantly...Randy and George's vast difference of perception on the effectiveness of "Behind Every Great Man".   Order up a Shirley Temple and a whiskey on the rocks and enjoy!!
